Stock Development Purchases Grandézza

By: Editorial Staff

Community Located Near Corkscrew Road

Stock Development has purchased Grandézza, a private, gated country club

located on Ben Hill Griffin Road in south Lee County.

Stock Development president Brian Stock said the purchase was a further expansion of his real estate

interests in Southwest Florida.

In April, Stock Development acquired 330 acres in Lely Resort in South

Naples, marking the company's entry in the Southwest Florida real estate

market. The purchase included the remaining residential parcels in the

southern portion of the community. In October, the company purchased Olde

Cypress, a golf and country club community on Immokalee Road.

"Southwest Florida's real estate market has seen spectacular growth in the

past decade and has proven itself a consistent sound investment in varied

economic climates," said Stock. "Grandézza fits neatly with our growing

specialization in country club real estate. Lely Resort has two golf clubs

and three world class golf courses and Olde Cypress has a superb P.B Dye

designed championship golf course and a spectacular clubhouse."

According to Stock, Grandézza is approximately one-third sold with more than

250 of the community's 811 homes having sold. Grandézza offers a variety of

home styles with prices starting from the $140s to over $1 million.

"We have watched Naples' high-end country club market expand northward into

Lee County. Grandézza is a high profile, luxury golf community at the center

of this growth in the booming Corkscrew Road corridor," said Stock. "We plan

to move forward aggressively marketing the remaining homes and club

memberships at Grandézza."

Coach homes are offered in two enclaves: Avalon by C&W Development and

in Oakwood by Jack Parker Homes. The Sabal Palm neighborhood features garden

and carriage homes by Jack Parker Homes. Builder Parker/Soave offers

twin villas in the Saraceno enclave. Two neighborhoods offer

detached villas: in Villa Grande by Empire Builders and in Saint Lucia by

Florida Bay Communities. Centex Homes offers single-family homes in the

Cypress Cove neighborhood. In the enclave of Grande Estates, custom

single-family homes are offered by Arthur Rutenberg Homes by Lyons Housing

Corp., Divco Homes, Empire Builders, Jenks Builders Inc., Lucarelli

Development, Titan Custom Homes, Vision Builders and Worthington Homes.

Grandézza is located one-half mile north of Corkscrew Road (Exit 123 off

Interstate 75). The 425-acre community recently opened a 53,000-square-foot

clubhouse. At the center of Grandézza is the 7,089-yard championship golf

course.

Stock has nearly six decades of building experience outside of the local

area. Company principal KC Stock has been involved in the building industry for 40 years,

including the ownership of building supply stores in Wisconsin, Illinois and

Minnesota.
