International College financial planning program renewed

The July pass rate for certification hits 100 percent

The CFP Board of Examiners has renewed International College's financial planning program through Sept. 30,

2006.

It covers the bachelor of science in management, with a minor in

financial planning; the bachelor of science in business administration,

with a minor in financial planning; the bachelor of science in accounting,

with a minor in financial planning; and the financial planning certificate

program.

International College changed the format of its financial planning program for the 2003 Fall term. It was repackaged from a for-credit program to a financial planning certificate program.

The college now offers a total of five courses for the program; one course is taken each semester, one night a week for three hours over 15 weeks.
