Prior to joining the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce, Jenna Buzzacco-Foerster spent more than a decade as a reporter, covering Florida politics and government for the Naples Daily News and FloridaPolitics.com. While she currently serves as the chamber’s director of government relations, it was her career as a reporter that taught her that sometimes you need to ruffle a few feathers to make a difference.
“I help the chamber advance its governmental and legislative priorities at the city, county and state level, and I advocate for the needs of chamber members on a wide range of topics,” she says. “I also managed the One Collier campaign, which in 2018 successfully passed a one-cent sales surtax in Collier County,”
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
I tend to keep the saying “well-behaved women seldom make history” in the back of my head all the time.
