Luca Hickman is a registered U.S. patent attorney and a Canadian foreign trademark agent at Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A. in Fort Myers. Though he holds a Juris Doctorate from the Ave Maria School of Law, it’s his undergraduate degrees in electrical engineering that play a big role in his work.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Begin with the end in mind, i.e., all of one’s actions should be directed in view of one’s final goal – what Aristotle called the telos (in English, the “final cause”).
