Three restaurants, two retailers and a health-and-beauty business recently opened or are coming soon to Mercato, the mixed-use lifestyle center off U.S. 41 and Vanderbilt Beach Road in North Naples.
Naples-based Juicelation opened Monday in the 873-square-foot former spot of Le Macaron bakery between Cariloha and Zen Aveda Salon in Mercato. It’s the second location for the local juice bar, which launched in 2015 at Liberty Plaza off U.S. 41 south of Pine Ridge Road in Naples. The business creates fresh, cold-pressed juices every day using in-season, 100% organic produce from area farms and markets. Juicelation also has smoothies as well as dairy-free, gluten-free superfood bowls.
Another eatery that recently opened at Mercato is Zza Baby Pizza Bar. Billy Bricks Restaurant Group launched this Zza Baby flagship location on Feb. 23 in a 2,792-square-foot space that formerly hosted two other pizzerias, Naples Flatbread and Piola, across from Mercato’s event lawn. Zza Baby serves Neapolitan and Chicago-inspired deep-dish pizzas, as well as pasta dishes, salads, sub sandwiches, craft beer and original cocktails. One of Zza’s custom made, signature glass pizza trucks is expected to follow the brick-and-mortar location, said Lindsey Hartline, marketing and brand manager for Illinois-based Billy Bricks Inc.
Palm & Paddle, a clothing store with men’s and women’s resort and activewear for the coastal lifestyle, also recently opened at Mercato in the 1,082-square-foot unit that formerly hosted Pikolinos and Foot Gear. The new store features casual Caribbean-inspired clothing from HIHO, including linen shirts and sweaters, beach dresses, shorts, pants and cotton T-shirts. Palm & Paddle also sells poolside drinkware, hats, jewelry and other accessories.
Three more businesses are coming within the next few months to the open-air center dining and shopping destination in North Naples.
A new locally sourced farm-to-table concept, The 239 Naples, plans to launch a family owned restaurant and bar this spring in the 3,215-square-foot former space of Zoës Kitchen and Taps. The venue next to Cavo Lounge and Kilwins promises fresh, clean eating with craft cocktails and artisanal foods from the farms and fisheries of Southwest Florida. The restaurant will serve brunch, lunch and dinner, as well as craft cocktails. Menu items will include snacks such as Crackling Coconut Gulf Shrimp and Chicken & Waffle Bites, handhelds such as FL Orange BBQ Organic Chicken Flatbread or GF Flaco 3 Skinny Tacos, bowls such as the ginger teriyaki and lemongrass curry, and entrees such as pan-seared fresh gulf snapper, vegetarian non-noodle lasagna and Jimmy P’s sirloin, which will be prepared sous vide then seared.
Another new clothing store coming this spring, Stanza, will offer a line of women’s resort wear, swimwear, sleepwear and lingerie. The 1,200-square-foot store will be next to Simply Natural in a unit that previously was home to Bio New York.
Coming this summer to Mercato, 4Ever Young will provide clients anti-aging cosmetic and wellness solutions to help them feel healthier. Expect a range of cosmetic services from fillers to contouring, injectables such as Botox and Juvéderm, chemical peels, custom facials, microneedling, CoolSculpting non-surgical fat freezing, nutrition and weight loss programs, and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy for men and women. The 1,995-square-foot store formerly hosted Signatures across from Blue Martini and Cavo.
