Plans for a new cafe in North Naples recently jelled with the Aug. 10 opening of Blu Jelly. The local restaurant serves breakfast and lunch in the Uptown Center space at 2650 Immokalee Road, formerly home to Araya Sushi Asian Grill and Dunkin’ Donuts, next to CiCi’s Pizza. Initially announced as Blu Jam, its North Naples owners changed their restaurant’s name before it opened after they realized that Blu Jam Cafe already was the name of a chain of restaurants in Los Angeles, said Blu Jelly manager Jon Mane, who co-owns the local cafe with Taulant Lako. Blu Jelly, which features more than 50 items on both the breakfast and lunch sides of its expansive menu, is open 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily.
