Florida Power & Light completed power restoration in Southwest Florida and to essentially all of its nearly 200,000 customers impacted by Hurricane Idalia within two days of the devastating storm exiting Florida. Navigating widespread tree damage, FPL’s restoration workforce went road-by-road and house-by-house to restore power safely and as quickly as possible, company officials said.
