Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Hendry Counties has nearly completed an extensive renovation of its North Fort Myers ReStore, 31 Willis Road, which was damaged during Hurricane Ian in September 2022.

Prior to its grand reopening Feb. 2, the Habitat ReStore is seeking the community’s support to help replenish its North Fort Myers warehouse with donations of new and gently used items.

As one of the largest thrift stores in Lee County, the North Fort Myers ReStore features more than 29,000 square feet of space and serves the community by selling donated household items and building materials to help fund Habitat for Humanity’s home building efforts in Lee and Hendry counties. However, catastrophic damage caused by Hurricane Ian left the store with a severely damaged roof, flooding and a complete loss of merchandise.

The North Fort Myers ReStore is actively seeking donations, such as furniture for living rooms, bedrooms, dining areas and patios, as well as household appliances, building supplies and home decor.
