Fort Myers City Council unanimously approved the Venetian Holdings 2 Final Plat, consisting of 43.96 acres located south of Winkler Avenue and north of Colonial Boulevard. The final plat will create three tracts for development of three multifamily projects. Assistant Director of Community Development Tony Palermo said Phase 1 is complete with 308 units. Phase 2 is planned for 300 units, with the hope to start construction in the next few weeks. Then Phase 3 of the plan is planned for another 300 units, likely to break ground after Phase 2 is complete.
