Joe Nugent, founder and owner of Naples-based Joe the Home Pro Home Inspections, will demonstrate his entrepreneurial prowess as he competes in the upcoming season of “The Blox.” Described as “Shark Tank” meets “The Apprentice,” The Blox is a competition show for entrepreneurs of startup companies nationwide—at any stage and from any industry. Nugent was among 115 participants selected from a pool of approximately 40,000 applicants. Filmed in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the end of February and hosted by reality star and entrepreneur Wes Bergman, Season 13 of the series will begin streaming Sept. 1 on Prime Video and Facebook Watch. Participants compete in a week-long boot camp with various exercises, pitches and tests focused on entrepreneurial themes, such as fundraising, growth hacking and inbound marketing.
