Naples-based Beasley Broadcast Group reported a net loss of $3.6 million, or $2.33 per diluted share, in the third quarter, according to an earnings report. That compared to a net loss of $67.5 million, or $45.08 per diluted share, in the third quarter of 2023. Net revenue during the third quarter of 2024 decreased 3.2% to $58.2 million, which company officials said primarily reflected a year-over-year decline in audio advertising and other revenue due to Beasley’s Wilmington, Delaware, station divestiture and esports and Guarantee Digital closures, partially offset by $2.7 million in political advertising revenue. Beasley reported an operating income of $1.2 million in the third quarter, compared to an operating loss of $85.5 million in the third quarter of 2023, reflecting non-cash impairment charges and the year-over-year decrease in operating and corporate expenses.
