Lee County will open an employee parking lot at 1762 Royal Palm Ave. in downtown Fort Myers to be used as paid public parking on nights and weekends starting Nov. 21. Paid public parking will be available at a flat fee of $3.35 for any six-hour block from 6:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday or from 6:30 p.m. Friday to 5:30 a.m. Monday using the Premium Parking app. Motorists will need their license plate number to complete payment.
