Southwest Florida International Airport experienced an 11% year-over-year decrease in passenger traffic in October, according to Lee County Port Authority data. The Fort Myers airport welcomed 657,488 passengers last month. Year to date, passenger traffic is up 12%. The traffic leader in October was Delta with 150,087 passengers. Rounding out the top five airlines were Southwest (119,021), American (98,389), United (96,607) and JetBlue (71,747). RSW had 7,529 arrivals and departures, a 15% increase compared to October 2023. Page Field in Fort Myers saw 12,261 arrivals and departures, a 27% year-over-year decrease.
