Made possible through donations from the FutureMakers Coalition and Suncoast Credit Union, School District of Lee County is providing new hiring incentives to meet the growing need for Exceptional Student Education K-12 teachers, speech-language pathologists and school psychologists. A $3,000 relocation bonus is available to new hires to the district who are relocating to the area from outside of Lee County. New hires who qualify for the relocation bonus must teach a critical shortage area. In addition, the district is offering critical shortage area bonuses, including a $3,000 hiring bonus for ESE teachers and a $5,000 hiring bonus for speech-language pathologists and school psychologists.
