Florida gas prices continued to yoyo up and down. Last week, the state average went from $3.11 per gallon down to $3.06 mid-week, only to bounce right back up to $3.11 per gallon by Jan. 12, according to data from AAA. The U.S. price for crude increased 4% to $3 per barrel last week. Jan. 10’s closing price of $76.57 per barrel is the highest daily settlement since early October. In Southwest Florida on Jan. 13, Charlotte County had the lowest average price at $3.05 per gallon, followed by Lee County ($3.10) and Collier County ($3.19).
