Lee County Electric Cooperative announced power restoration reached 95% Oct. 13 following outages from Hurricane Milton. Crews restored power to 84,639 customers. As of 6 a.m. Oct. 14, 4,217 customers are without power, including 3,798 on Sanibel and Captiva. Two basecamps are fully operational, providing necessary lodging and meals for the restoration teams, expediting work efforts, company officials said.
