On the eve of the presidential election, Florida’s average gas price was $3.01 per gallon, according to data from AAA. The average price was nearly 20 cents less than the same time in 2023 and 10 cents lower than the national average. On Nov. 4 in Southwest Florida, Charlotte County had the lowest average price at $2.94 per gallon, followed by Lee County ($2.98) and Collier County ($3.10).
