Babcock Ranch will debut three new parks — Hillcrest Park, The Lagoon and Bluebird Park — from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 2 in The PKWY. Perched atop a hill, Hillcrest Park offers a two-story observation tower with sweeping views, hillside slides, a climbing net and grassy mounds. A 3.3-acre lake and a pier with a floating dock provide catch-and-release fishing at The Lagoon. The park also has a grass lawn and a crushed shell walking path around the lake. Bluebird Park features innovative playground equipment, bluebird-themed amenities and shade canopies overhead. Located in MidTown, The PKWY spans 313 acres and six parks connected by a 2.5-mile trail in Curry Creek Preserve. Each park has a unique purpose and custom-built features to encourage exploration, play, exercise and time in nature. All parks offer shaded pavilions and parking and blend with new trails leading into the preserve.
