Burlington opened its new discount clothing and retail store May 10 at 3302 Bonita Beach Road SE in Bonita Springs. The location in The Center of Bonita Springs is the retailer’s sixth store in Lee County and the 104th in Florida. Burlington and Kohl’s department stores are replacing the Old Time Pottery store that closed a year ago in a large space that formerly was Kmart. The new Burlington store is 28,640 square feet, while the adjacent 41,800-square-foot Kohl’s store is targeted to open this fall. To celebrate the grand opening of the new store, Burlington donated $5,000 to Spring Creek Elementary School in Bonita Springs during the store’s ribbon-cutting ceremony May 10. Burlington offers ladies’ apparel and accessories, menswear, kids clothing, footwear, home décor items, pet care and toys.
