City of Cape Coral permitting, licensing and business tax receipts counters at City Hall will be closed, and the EnerGov CSS portal will be offline from Dec. 5-8 for system upgrades. Residents with appointments can utilize the permitting and licensing counters Dec. 3-4 between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Counter appointments can be scheduled using the Q-less virtual line system. Business tax receipts services are available at the City Clerk’s department counter between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Dec. 3-4. To streamline the process, users are advised to schedule permit inspections through the Citizen Self-Service portal before noon Dec. 4. During the upgrade period, residents and contractors cannot submit permit applications, check permit statuses, schedule inspections, apply for licenses or renew business tax receipts. Normal operations are expected to resume by Dec. 9.
