Local chef and entrepreneur Matt Geiger, owner of Savour First Choice Catering and Savour Coffee, announced the acquisition of Lee County fine dining restaurant Azure. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. Located at 15301 McGregor Blvd., Unit 1, Azure serves French and European cuisine, and for the past eight years was owned by Lee Riley and Eddy Garces, who are retiring and chose Geiger to carry on the restaurant’s legacy. Under his new leadership, Geiger said Azure will continue to serve refined, high-end cuisine, with an emphasis on fresh, locally sourced ingredients and innovative dishes.
