Bonita Springs-based bedding retailer City Mattress will open its first Cape Coral store Aug. 26 in Cape Coral Commons. The 10,000-square-foot store, 915 NE 15th Place, will showcase luxury mattresses in lifestyle vignettes. City Mattress purchased the 1.26-acre lot at the northwest corner of Pine Island Road and Del Prado Boulevard in March 2022 for $1.2 million. Hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays. City Mattress has locations in Estero, Fort Myers, Naples, North Naples and south Fort Myers.
