Collier County will resume residential bulky waste collections on Monday. Regular household collection of garbage, recycling and yard waste has already resumed. Residents are asked to call 239-252-2380 to arrange for bulky waste collection. Bulky waste items include non-hurricane debris appliances (stoves, dishwashers and refrigerators with doors removed to avoid entrapment of children), electronics and tires. Residents may safely dispose of batteries by taking them to any of the county’s Recycling Drop-Off Centers. There is no charge for battery disposal. The Recycling Drop-Off Centers are open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Saturday.
