The Collier County Canvassing Board took part in the public manual audit of the 2024 General Election on Nov. 22, as required by law. During the meeting, Collier County Supervisor of Elections staff manually audited the presidential race for Precinct 257. In total, 2,899 ballots were manually counted in the audit, including ballots cast by mail, during early voting, provisionally and on Election Day with 100% accuracy as compared to the tabulation equipment used during the election. County officials said the audit proves that the equipment was properly programmed and was capturing votes cast accurately. The Nov. 22 manual audit concluded the Canvassing Board meetings for the 2024 General Election.
