Wright Construction Group began construction on Immokalee Fire Station 30 with the $4.7 million dollar project scheduled to be completed at 502 New Market Road E. in October 2022. Once completed, the first floor will be equipped with bunker gear storage, shop areas, conference rooms, a lobby and a laundry room. The proposed three apparatus bay exit doors will have vertical folding doors installed, allowing for a quicker response time for the trucks leaving the apparatus bay. The third floor will have a full kitchen and dining room, five full bathrooms, a fitness room, a lounge room, all bunk rooms and an outdoor porch. The fire station will also be equipped with a 3,000-gallon diesel fuel tank to fill up all fire station vehicles, as well as a 500-gallon liquid propane tank for the kitchen and water heaters.
