Cape Coral City Council gave the final green light to the Festival Park project in hopes that more visitors will make their way to the northwest part of the city. Festival Park will feature nature trails, multipurpose fields, playgrounds, an amphitheater for live music and parking. The city expects to hold a groundbreaking ceremony by the end of March. Most of the park is expected to be completed within 16 months, WINK News reports.
