Doc’s Beach House reopened Dec. 8 at 27908 Hickory Blvd. in Bonita Springs after being closed for more than a year after suffering damage from Hurricane Ian. The family-owned beachfront restaurant has been a community staple since 1987 but had walls washed away by the Sept. 28, 2022, hurricane, which also left the bottom floor in ruin. While repairs were being made, the owners operated a food truck, WINK News reports.
