Edison National Bank/Bank of the Islands donated $2,000 to the Sanibel-Captiva Rotary Club’s Howard S. Danner Jr. Wheels for Wheels Cycling Challenge. The donation is part of the bank’s We Love Our Islands program, and the nonprofit was selected to receive the funds by bank customer and longtime islander Clark Rambo. Wheels for Wheels Cycling Challenge benefits the Wheelchair Foundation, a nonprofit organization leading an international effort to create awareness of the needs and abilities of people with physical disabilities and deliver a wheelchair to every child, teen and adult in the world who needs one but cannot afford one.
