FastTrax Fort Myers plans to break ground on a 62,000-square-foot go-kart facility later this year as a part of the HeadPinz Entertainment Complex on Treeline Avenue, a mile north of Southwest Florida International Airport in south Fort Myers. The facility on 3.5 acres in Southwest International Commerce Park will feature multilevel karting with all-electric go-karts on three tracks, one for kids and two for adults. FastTrax will have more than 50 arcade games, space for corporate functions and a restaurant, Nemo’s Trackside Bar. Company officials said the facility should open by the fourth quarter of 2024. It is expected to create at least 80 new jobs in management, customer service, mechanics, restaurant/bar staff, sales and event planners. FastTrax is the newest member of the Bowling Management Associates group in Southwest Florida.
