A Federal Emergency Management Agency disaster recovery center opened Oct. 31 at Tringali Park Community Center, 3460 N. Access Road in Englewood. The DRC will be open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Disaster recovery centers provide disaster survivors with information from Florida agencies, FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration. Individuals can get help applying for federal assistance and disaster loans, update applications and learn about other resources available.
