Fort Myers City Council unanimously approved Monday the purchase and sale agreement for the acquisition of 2115 and 2135 Central Ave. from 2150 Fowler Rams Plaza LLC for $8 million, plus associated closing costs. The subject property consists of 5.66 acres of improved land, which will be the future site of the Fort Myers Police Department headquarters. Prior to closing, a due diligence period will include a Phase I Environmental survey, a title review and a title policy for the subject property.
