GMA Architects & Planners completed work for Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida Inc. for a new retail store in Naples Park. The 19,000-square-foot freestanding store is at 10455 Tamiami Trail N., between 104th and 105th avenues North in North Naples. It opened in early February. The project was a conversion of an old Office Depot, which included bringing the site up to code and creating a cavaliered drop-off structure. In addition, it included upgrading all the exterior and interior lighting, as well as creating back-of-house storage for merchandise donations. The floors were stripped and polished exposed concrete, and the exterior paint colors were upgraded, along with decorative security gates.
