HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital opened its third freestanding emergency room to serve patients in Fort Myers and surrounding communities. The new emergency center, HCA Florida West Fort Myers Emergency, is located at 8919 College Pointe Court in Fort Myers.
The 10,820-square-foot facility is part of HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital. It will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with full-service emergency care, including laboratory, X-rays, CT scanning and ultrasound.
The emergency room will open at 7 a.m. Nov. 20. HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital opened its first freestanding emergency room, HCA Florida Cape Coral Emergency, in June 2022. This was followed by the June 2023 opening of HCA Florida Tamiami Trail Emergency in northern Charlotte County.
