Homesense, an off-price retailer of home fashions, will open its newest location today in the former Best Buy site at Gulf Coast Town Center in south Fort Myers. Under the retail banner of The TJX Companies Inc., which also operates T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods and Sierra, Homesense features a wide array of furniture, a rug emporium, a wall art and mirror gallery, a lighting department, including chandeliers, and a general store section with a selection of project supplies. Customers can also shop for seasonal items, including decor and entertaining essentials at prices 20% to 50% less than full-price retailers, including department and specialty stores. Store hours are 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sundays.
