The Picklr is proposing a 15-court indoor pickleball complex in East Naples for the 9.6-acre property on the southeast corner of Collier Boulevard and Beck Boulevard. The indoor courts will have “outdoor surfacing,” a proprietary court surface textured like an outdoor court.
The Picklr’s website shows amenities for its “Naples South” location at 3800 Beck Blvd. will include a pro shop, locker rooms with showers and private areas for parties and events. The Utah-based company promotes league play, tournaments, drop-in play, court reservations and artificial intelligence coaching.
The proposed project is still in the development process, which includes a neighborhood information meeting at 5:30 p.m. March 18 in the Collier County South Regional Library meeting room, 8065 Lely Cultural Parkway. The required meeting regards the proposed amendment to the Forest Glen of Naples planned unit development to permit up to 36,720 square feet of indoor recreational facilities, including pickleball, while retaining the overall maximum commercial square footage of 100,000 square feet, which was previously approved.
