Kevin Ruane
Three commissioners were sworn in Nov. 19 as members of the Lee Board of County Commissioners. The newly inaugurated board members are District 1 Commissioner Kevin Ruane, who was reelected to the board after serving since 2020; District 3 Commissioner David Mulicka, who was elected to the seat earlier this month and replaces retired Commissioner Ray Sandelli; and District 5 Commissioner Mike Greenwell, who was reelected to the board after serving since 2022. Lee County Clerk of Court Kevin C. Karnes presided over the board’s selection of its new chair for the year ahead. Commissioner Kevin Ruane will serve as chairman. The board selected Commissioner Cecil Pendergrass as its vice chairman.
