The estimated value of all property in Lee County is now more than $173 billion, according to initial estimates for 2022 released by Lee County Property Appraiser. It represented an increase of more than 30% above last year. City of Cape Coral’s property saw a nearly 40% increase to $37.3 billion, while city of Fort Myers increased 24% to $15.5 billion. City of Sanibel property was valued at $8.5 billion, town of Fort Myers Beach at $6 billion, city of Bonita Springs at $19.4 billion and village of Estero at $10.8 billion.
