Fort Myers Beach Mayor Ray Murphy said the town is making “terrific progress” and working to get residents back to their homes. He said the Fort Myers Beach Fire Department and Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Urban Search and Rescue team searches are what is keeping people from being able to return. The mayor said there will likely be a few more days before the search will be over, WINK News reports.
