Ray the Mover was sold to a group of private investors and officials from mergers and acquisitions advisory firm Generational Group, which represented the Naples-based moving and storage company in the deal. As an agent of North American Van Lines, the company, which was established in 1981, offers a range of services for both residential and commercial clients, specializing in local, long distance and international moves. The buyer, PackGistics, includes private investors Matthew Mullaney, Megan Smith and Dan Duschene. After two decades in warehousing and distribution, Smith, managing director, entered the moving and storage industry with this acquisition. This partnership seeks to combine client-focused, tech-driven solutions to simplify the moving experience for families and businesses across Southwest Florida, company officials said. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
