After a year of virtually social distancing, the 22nd annual Naples Winter Wine Festival returns to an in-person event this weekend with the theme “Twenty Twenty Twogether” hosted by the Naples Children & Education Foundation. Today begins with a Meet the Kids Day tour and luncheon. Tonight, dinners at private homes throughout Naples will showcase vintners visiting Naples from California, Italy, France, Spain and South America with master sommeliers spanning North America from Quebec to Hawaii. Joining Chef de Cuisine Nancy Oakes, executive chef/owner of Boulevard Restaurant in San Francisco, will be top chefs traveling from New York City, Chicago and elsewhere across the nation. The show-stopping weekend culminates Saturday at Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples, with the annual live auction to raise millions of dollars for local nonprofits that work with children. Gulfshore Business will provide live coverage of the winning bids of more than 40 auction lots for international trips and more. Follow the fundraiser live Saturday afternoon at Gulfshore Business.com.
