Naples Zoo invited the community to share in a farewell to its gift shop. Built in the 1970s, the building was Naples Zoo’s second entrance and gift shop structure prior to the zoo completing a $15 million entrance and visitor complex. The building was constructed at a time when the zoo was welcoming less than 100,000 visitors annually. In the last few years, the zoo’s attendance reached more than 400,000 visitors through a single door of the building.
