Neighborhood Health Clinic was awarded a $20,000 grant from United Church of Marco Island to support the clinic’s medication therapy protocols for chronic disease patient care. Nearly 70% of the clinic’s patients suffer from a combination of heart disease and associated diabetes-related illness, making them dependent on the clinic for medical care and management of their illnesses.
