After receiving its fair share of noise complaints, Naples Airport is exploring moving to eastern Collier County, Naples Airport Authority officials said. The airport has operated for eight decades east of the Gordon River. The airport authority is searching for a location that would prompt fewer noise complaints and provide better storm resiliency. A feasibility study will also examine locations big enough for commercial airline services, WINK News reports.
