Premier Mobile Health Services, a nonprofit health clinic that brings essential medical care to those in need across Lee County, expanded with a new location in Immokalee. The Collier County expansion was made possible by a $30,000 grant from the Moorings Park Foundation, the charitable arm of the Naples-based retirement community. That support will enable Premier Mobile Health Services to provide free health screenings and education on disease prevention in the rural agricultural community east of Naples, emphasizing those 60 and older.
This month, the mobile clinic will visit Immokalee from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 25 at 201 S. Third St. Walk-ins are welcome. Patients without insurance and those who provide proof of income below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines are provided care at no cost; others in need pay on a sliding scale based on income.
