Some areas of Charlotte, Collier and Lee counties are experiencing red tide. From Ten Thousand Islands up to Sanibel and in between, red, green and brown colors can be seen in the water. Mike Parsons, professor at Florida Gulf Coast University’s Water School, said while the drastic colors can be alarming, it’s not always concerning, WINK News reports.
