Brand new renderings of what the new Times Square on Fort Myers Beach will look like were shown by the property owners June 11 at DiamondHead Beach Resort. The area’s future has been uncertain since Hurricane Ian washed the shops and restaurants away. Businesses have stayed open with food trucks, but the town and property owners seek a more long-term solution. The renderings show three-story buildings with bars, restaurants and parking. For that to happen, approval from the town will be needed, WINK News reports.
