Passenger traffic was up 2% year over year at Fort Myers’ Southwest Florida International Airport in August, according to Lee County Port Authority data. In total, 614,531 passengers traveled through RSW in August. Year-to-date, passenger traffic increased 16%. The traffic leader in August was Delta with 163,035 passengers. Rounding out the top five airlines were Southwest (104,941), American (100,181), United (92,144) and JetBlue (50,564). RSW had a combined 5,423 arrivals and departures, a 2% year-over-year increase. Page Field in Fort Myers saw 12,999 arrivals and departures, a 19% decrease compared to August 2023.
