Shell Point Retirement Community plans to develop a new independent-living midrise building in the Fort Myers area. Vista Cay, which will be on The Island at Shell Point in Punta Rassa, will offer 59 apartments from 1,544 to 2,722 square feet on 12 residential floors over two floors of parking. Units prices will start at $1,175,000. Construction is slated to begin in July and estimated for completion in 2026.
