A 4,479-square-foot Gulf-front private residence within South Seas Resort sold for $9,675,000, representing the highest-priced residential sale at the resort and the eighth highest on Captiva Island. Located at 1119 Schefflera Court, the residence, known as Sosianna-SEArendipity, has five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. The property last sold in 2021 for $5.8 million, property records show. Hurricanes Helene and Milton caused significant ground-level damage to the property, but Estate Management Construction restored it. Exterior features include a standing seam aluminum roof, Hardie board siding, hurricane-rated impact windows and a 45-kilowatt commercial generator. Outdoor spaces include multilevel composite decking and native landscaping. John R. Wood Christie’s International Real Estate’s LeAne Suarez Group listed and sold the property.
