The Bubble Room Restaurant, a Captiva staple, remains closed for repairs following Hurricane Ian in 2022, but a large sign covering fencing around the area said the restaurant’s grand reopening will happen in 2024. The restaurant has no set date or range for reopening, but the owners want people to know it will reopen. Boop’s by the Bubble Room, located next door, reopened in March 2023 and serves the famous Bubble Room cakes, breakfast sandwiches, ice cream, coffee and pastries, WINK News reports.
